Limerick’s Féile Na Gréine returns this weekend with its biggest lineup to date.
The free festival celebrates the best of emerging and experimental music at venues across Limerick city. This year’s lineup has been curated to reflect and bring together a diverse range of Irish independent music communities.
Here’s what to expect from one of Ireland’s most exciting arts festivals.
Following an online BYOL event with Baptist Goth at 1pm on Friday, the official Festival Launch kicks off at 6:30pm at Ormston house with a set from Dublin artist Dreamcycles. Head over to Pharmacia at 8pm for some more tunes from Ana Palindrome, Fonda, Autumns and Lesko.
Saturday is packed full of entertainment which begins in Mother Macs at midday, with performances from Cinder Well, Jane Deasy and mankyy x Hazey Haze. At 1pm return to Ormston House for the ‘Find a Line and Follow it’ workshop courtesy of Mineral Stunting.

If you’re looking for a dance instead, Catherine Street's will offer a great selection music from Negro Impacto’s Laurence Kapinga, Robbie Stickland, Laurie Shaw and more.
Coolgril, Sloucho and Brauni are expected at the Crew Brewery at 6pm, where you can sample the Féile Pale Ale made by Crew Brewery and Treaty City Brewery especially for the event.
Saturday caps off at Pharmacia for an evening of music from Katie Kim, Arborist, Julia Louise Knifefist and R.Kitt.

Sunday begins at 12:45pm in Belltable with a screening of the award-winning Out of Place and a Q and A session hosted by filmmaker Michelle Doyle.
The Treaty City Brewery will host Méabh McKenna, Rois, SWEETS and Senior Infants at 2pm while Catherine Street will host another street party at 6:45pm, with tunes courtesy of Moving Home, Robocobra Quartet and Native Ted.
The Double R Sessions in the Record Room take place at 7pm, when Eimer Reidy and Natalyia Beylis and The Piper’s Grip with Eimear Walshe will perform.
Closing the festival will be a mystery headliner at Pharmacia at 10pm.
