Fergal D’Arcy, former Today FM and iRadio presenter, has joined RTÉ 2FM.
Broadcaster Fergal D'Arcy announced on social media that he “shall be joining the excellent crew at 2FM for the next few weeks”.
The former Today FM radio host will be on air between 3pm and 6pm each Saturday and Sunday, a show normally hosted by Aifric O' Connell.
Aside from a secret pilot show for 2FM on Wednesday morning last week, Fergal was last heard at Today FM in February 2022 before leaving the show. Fans were disappointed to see him depart the station after six years with the station.
The news came after RTE's unveiling of 2FM's new weekend line-up, following the departure of stars such as Dave Fanning and Stephen Byrne.
