The structure of a bachelor’s degree programme doesn’t suit everyone. That’s why the flexible, vocational learning – including training in practical skills and work experience – offered on FET Level 5 & 6 courses (also known as Post Leaving Certificate or PLC courses) can be a preferred option for many.

With their Open Day scheduled for September 17th between 9:30am and 5pm, Alliance Française Dublin are gearing up for an exciting new term of online and on-site French courses. Hosting brilliant cultural events in the heart of the city centre, the school has been the go-to location for the French experience for over 60 years.
The Dublin branch has more than a century of history, created as the first established Alliance Française in a non-French speaking country. The award-winning French Language and Cultural Centre remains the third biggest in Europe, with their Language Centre named the Best Language School in Ireland at the 2018 Education Awards. From September 26th, the academic year will include general French courses, conversation classes, refreshers, specialised workshops, preparation for exams, and more for adults of all levels and abilities.
Why not spend a zen lunchtime at the French Café-Restaurant Chez Max, or catch a photography exhibition at the new Alliance Française Gallery? The multiform French Library and its huge collections are another draw for eager learners of all ages.
