Deadline to submit applications for 2024 Stendhal Festival has been extended to Friday 19th January.
Stendhal Festival is encouraging any performers who have yet to apply to take part at this year’s event, and to do so before the deadline on Friday 19th January.
Organisers express their aim to hear from as many musicians, comedians, poets, performers and artists as possible, hoping to develop another standout programme for the 2024 instalment of the multi-award-winning music and arts festival.
Scheduled to return for 4th July to 6th July 2024, the fourteenth edition of Stendhal Festival vows to be another unforgettable, must-see weekend of artistic exploration and expression at Ballymully Cottage Farm in Limavady, Co. Derry, Northern Ireland.
As expected, Stendhal organisers appeal for applications from rising indigenous talent across all creative disciplines as the festival continues its mission to provide a platform and promote an eclectic and inclusive artistic experience.

On the call for applications, Event Director Ross Parkhill says, “We say this every year and it still rings true, the submission process is always one of our favourite times of the annual festival cycle. We love discovering new music, new artists and new performers and the submissions always throw up some absolutely brilliant discoveries.”
Parkhill mentions discovering acts such as Ryan McMullan, Soak and JC Stewart while sifting through annual artist submissions, commenting that “this year we are again delighted to open the net wider than just musicians.”
“We want to hear from poets, visual artists of all kinds, comedians, dancers, theatre groups and basically anyone who would like to get on stage at Stendhal and wow our audience with something special.”
