Later this year Finneas is slated to join his headline billed sister, Billie Eilish, at Coachella Music Festival.
As part of a run celebrating the acts nominated for the Best New Artist GRAMMY, Finneas recorded a cover of Bon Iver's 2007 track 'Flume', as well as a reimagining of his own song 'Medieval', for Spotify's Singles series.
The two tracks were the first to be recorded in the streaming service's brand new studio, located in the heart of Los Angeles.
Finneas said of the opportunity: "Honored to finally be able to get into the brand new and beautiful Spotify Studios to record these songs in these special arrangements."

The L.A. native's first claim to fame was being Billie Eilish's brother and producer. Now having released his debut album Optimist last year, Finneas is becoming an applauded artist in his own right.
Upon Optimist's release Hot Press' Ed Power reviewed the work, noting the stark departure from the "baroque sound" Eilish and her brother have honed across her two studio LPs.
"Where Eilish’s output is a slow riot of cybernetic sturm und drang, on Optimist Finneas is all about the heartfelt twang. He sounds very much like a Gen Z Chris Martin at moments. Elsewhere, there is something of the pop-processed rock of One Republic or a zillion-selling Death Cab For Cutie. It’s catchy and heartfelt – yet utterly removed from the music O’Connell makes with his sister."
