The first official trailer for Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw has been released.

Hobbs & Shaw is the first spinoff of the Fast & Furious franchise, which has earned nearly $5 billion worldwide in its eight films, and follows Dwayne Johnson's (Rampage) and Jason Statham's (The Meg) characters, who faced off in 2015's Furious 7, but now will have team up to take down cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist.

The action-packed, globe-trotting film will also star Idris Elba (Luther) and Venessa Kirby (The Crown) and is directed and written by David Leitch (Deadpool 2).

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw will hit cinemas in Ireland August 2nd.
