Foo Fighters will be joined by a stellar lineup to celebrate the life of the late Taylor Hawkins.
The first wave of guests have been announced for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert taking place in Wembley Stadium, London, on September 3. Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Liam Gallagher, Chrissie Hynde, Brian May, and Mark Ronson are just a few of the names joining Foo Fighters for the night, in celebration of the late Taylor Hawkin.
Foo Fighters, together with the Hawkins Family, are celebrating the life and legacy of Taylor with two all-star global events - the first set in London, and the second taking place in The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on September 27.
The first round of guests for the Los Angeles show will be revealed shortly.
The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will benefit charities in both the US and UK, chosen by the Hawkins family. Details of which are soon to be announced.
The legendary Foo Fighters drummer passed away on March 25 of this year at the age of 50. No cause of death was announced, however, a post-mortem found marijuana, opioids and other drugs in his system before he died. The band were on tour in South America, promoting Medicine At Midnight, when Hawkins was found dead.
The iconic musician leaves behind a wife and three children.
