The Five Lamps Arts Festival have announced the line-up for their 2025 edition, set to take place between Monday, March 24 and Sunday, April 6.
The festival marks its 18th year with a line-up that comprises over 40 performances, featuring "everything from theatre to exhibitions, live music to film, poetry to storytelling, and hip-hop battles to imaginative children’s events."
The programme includes Paddy – the Life and Times of Paddy Armstrong, starring Don Wycherley, a one-man show directed by Mary-Elaine Tynan and inspired by Armstrong's wrongful conviction and his fight for justice. It will take place at the Seán O'Casey Theatre on March 26-28.
Paula Meehan and Theo Dorgan's Poetry Night at the James Joyce Centre takes place on March 29, featuring some of Ireland’s most celebrated literary voices. Studio Sessions at Windmill Lane Studios, on the same date will feature performances from Brazilian artist Ellen Be and special guests.

Sightseers – Works on Paper by James Hanley, at Marino's Casino, will exhibit a selection of drawings, sketches, and prints of historical and cultural landmarks collected over 25 years of travel. It will be available from March 13 to April 10.
The Five Lamps Arts Festival, located in Dublin’s North East Inner City, was founded in 2007 by Róisín Lonergan. The festival's community-based team works with local people and professional artists to "put culture, creativity and diversity at the heart of the area’s regeneration."
