Fleet Foxes will join Simply Red as a part of a series hosted by Singular Artists, to take place this August.
Fleet Foxes have officially become the second performance to be announced as a part of Singular Artist's Wider Than Pictures concert series, to take place at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks on August 28.
The show will mark the band's first full performance of their Grammy nominated album, Shore, which was released in September of 2020. The album, which has been widely praised by critics, is the second nomination for the Seattle-based group, whose second release Helplessness Blues was tipped for Best Folk Album in 2012.
In addition to finally showcasing their pandemic-era work, the National Museum performance will also signal the band's return to live music, since the conclusion of their 2018 tour. Finally, the group composed of Robin Pecknold, Skyler Skjelset, Casey Wescott, Christian Wargo and Morgan Henderson, will once more grace the stage.
Though unable to perform live, the Fleet Foxes have still been producing. December saw the digital release A Very Lonely Solstice, a career spanning record created in December of 2020 at Brooklyn, New York City's St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church. This upcoming November the outfit will release a book of lyrics, titled Wading in Waist High Water.

Tickets for Fleet Foxes go on sale on Friday, February 18, at 10am. For more information see Ticketmaster.
