An exciting week for Fleetwood Mac fans...
Following the viral success of their 1977 single 'Dreams' on TikTok, Fleetwood Mac’s discography has seen a huge uptick in streaming, leading to new limelight on the Official Irish Albums Chart for the band’s 2018 box set 50 Years – Don’t Stop. Peaking at Number 5 previously, the collection advances to Number 4 this week. Additionally, the band's classic album Rumours has made a return to the Top 10, climbing to Number 6.
Elsewhere on the Albums chart, Pop Smoke's Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon climbs back to number one, beating out Dermot Kennedy's Without Fear, which takes the number 2 slot from its position at number 3 last week. British rapper Headie One's debut solo album Edna debuts on the chart at number 3, the highest debut for a rap album in Ireland this year.
Meanwhile, over on the Singles charts, Paul Woolford, Diplo and Lomax jump four slots from Number 5 to Number 1 with 'Looking For Me', while Dermot Kennedy's 'Giants' climbs a position from Number 3 to Number 2, and Miley Cyrus' 'Midnight Sky' climbs again, settling her firmly in the top 10.
