Tickets for Florence + The Machine's show go on sale this Friday.
Florence + The Machine will be taking their new album Dance Fever on the road this autumn, with a show at the 3Arena, Dublin on November 30.
Dance Fever will be Florence + The Machine's fifth studio album. The announcement coincided with single 'My Love', which was released earlier this month — establishing the album as the same blend of eccentricity and power the band has trademarked.
Produced by front-woman Florence Welch and Jack Antonoff, the project brings back the very best sounds of the English indie group, and will be released May 13th on Polydor Records. Fans in the UK and Ireland can pre-order the album here before 5pm on Tuesday the 22nd, to get access to presale tickets.
So far in 2022, the group have released three singles: 'King,' 'Heaven is Here,' and 'My Love' ahead of Dance Fever. The LP was written over the pandemic, and was meant to encapsulate all the things Welch was missing amongst lockdown. Breathless and in constant motion, it's an ode to the clubs, festivals and togetherness the world has been craving.
Since their debut in 2009 the band has garnered an impressive following, collecting countless awards and nominations as they ascended to indie stardom. Lungs, their first studio album, won the British Album of the Year Brit award in 2010, with the group securing the Critics Choice Brit the previous year. Since then, they've accumulated accolades across categories and across the world.
