Sam Fender's July 15th headliner at Finsbury Park will see Fontaines D.C., Declan McKenna, Beabadoobee, and Goat Girl support.
Sam Fender has announced details of a major London gig at Finsbury Park for summer 2022 – with Dublin post-punk heroes Fontaines D.C. topping the special guests list.
Following the success of the North Shields’ singer-songwriters’ sophomore album Seventeen Going Under, Fender will follow in the footsteps of Arctic Monkeys, Queens Of The Stone Age, Pulp and Liam Gallagher in headlining Finsbury Park.
The show is slated to take place on Friday, July 15 and will see him joined by the hand-picked roster of Fontaines D.C., Declan McKenna, Beabadoobee, and Goat Girl. Many many more will be announced at a later date.
45,000 tickets will be going on sale for the event, with Fender expressing his excitement for Grammy nominated rockers Fontaines D.C.'s performance.
“It’s gonna be like Sam Fender with his mates and friends. We’ve got Fontaines DC confirmed so far, and I’m so, so excited because I absolutely adore them boys. Their last record was second to none, you know, it was amazing. It’s going to be a really exciting night," he told NME.
