The "festival with a heart and a conscience" is a climate-aware event that also raises funds for the new animal welfare charity, Animal Welfare and Veterinary Care Ireland.
Forever Young Festival has announced its return to the luxurious grounds of Palmerstown House Estate, Co Kildare, on 14-16th July 2023 with pre-sale tickets going on sale this weekend.
Earlier this month, 80s icons including Holly Johnson, OMD, Bananarama and The Undertones wowed a massive crowd at this year's festival event. Naturally, 80s attire - including bright colours, leg warmers (despite the scorching weather) and blow-up microphones - was all the rage. Elsewhere, cover bands entertained with renditions of Kate Bush and Queen classics, among many others.

The award-winning festival has been described as "a high-end adult party weekend par excellence" that lets 80s fans create forever memories with timeless bands. But there's more - the press release promises "a mixtape weekend where colleagues, friends and family can relive their youth, pull on their leg warmers and ra ra skirts, don the shoulder pads, roll up their suit sleeves along with mirrored aviator shades, and enjoy the 80âs all over again."
Set in a large field on the grounds of Palmerstown House Estate, Co Kildare, the unforgettable musical experience offers luxury camping, flushing toilets, on-site glamping with comfortable beds, duvets, and power to charge your devices, as well as hot showers and golf buggy lifts around the site.
Forever Young expects to sell out early this year as the numbers will be capped to ensure an enjoyable event for everyone. They also uphold their ethos of being an eco-friendly, climate-aware run event, which raises funds for the new animal welfare charity Animal Welfare and Veterinary Care Ireland.
The festival bans all single-use plastics on site to keep the grounds clean.
While the line-up for next year has not been announced yet, this year featured performances by Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Nick Heyward, The Christians, Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz, Wendy James, Tiffany, Holly Johnson, OMD, Bananarama, Bad Manners, Paul Carrack, Limahl, The Undertones, 5 Star, The Blow Monkeys, T'Pau, Heather Small, Then Jerico, Hue and Cry and In Tua Nua, among others.
