Forza Horizon 2 - Tech Review
Your vroom or mine?
A trip to southeast France, or the northwestern corner of Italy, suggests strolls along the promenade, dips in the sea, and bottles of vino. Forget about it. Forza Horizon 2 brings The Italian Job to your living room, as you race along cliffs, through fields and tunnels, bashing down fences and flattening shrubbery.
The location might not have the variety of the first Forza Horizon’s Colorado backdrop, but at least it’s done away with the hipster knobs who populated that game. Don’t expect a leisurely affair. Players take part in road trips between six hub locations, charging across an open map with a convoy of exotic automobiles. There are super cars, muscle cars, SUVs, retro hot hatches, modern supercars. Over 200 cars in all. You’re awarded skill points for driving with flair and smashing up scenery. Oh, but what scenery it is. Show me that horizon.
