Little John Nee’s Zeitgeist Jukebox is an immersive theatre experience, co-presented by First Fortnight.
Zeitgeist Jukebox commences its run during First Fortnight’s 2025 festival edition, playing four locations across the country.
The show tells the story of a group of people who meet up at an old warehouse in response to a notice on a lamppost. They see an invitation to join the oddest band that ever was in the making of the greatest album of the twenty-first century.
Through Zeitgeist Jukebox’s storytelling, viewers can regard a soulful antidote to the disconnection of our times, and a testament to music’s healing properties.
The show was written by Little John Nee, an award-winning performer based in the west of Ireland. His 2024 show Nettle Horse toured extensively, including performances at the Irish Cultural Centre London.
