Barry Keoghan shared a first look at 'Y: The Last Man'.
Graphic novel adaptation Y: The Last Man, starring Irish actor Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk, The Killing of a Sacred Deer), has been given a series order by U.S. cable channel FX.
Y: The Last Man is an adaptation of the beloved science fiction graphic novel series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, and is helmed by Michael Green (Logan, Blade Runner 2049) The post-apololyptic series was published by DC Comics/Vertigo from 2002 to 2008.
Barry Keoghan will star as main character Yorick, while Diane Lane (Under the Tuscan Sun), Imogen Poots (Green Room), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Juliana Canfield (Succession) and Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete) will star alongside him.
FX described the series in a statement: "Y traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male mammal save for one lone human. The new world order of women will explore gender, race, class and survival."
