Samsung is going widescreen with S6 edge+. The phone is touting super- human video capabilities, such as Steady Video, which stabilises shaky video on the front and rear cameras. Video Collage Mode lets you record and edit short videos, using frames and effects.
The phone also features 4K Video filming and Live Broadcast, which streams HD video straight from the phone to any individual, group of contacts, or the public through YouTube Live. The camera has Auto Real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Smart Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), new filters, and a quick launch button.
The device includes Apps edge, which gives you instant access to apps with a swipe of the display. People Edge works in much the same way for contacts.
The phone can be fully charged in 120 minutes through wireless technology, an supports SideSync, connecting the device to PC’s or tablets for easy access to files and data.
Galaxy S6 edge+ will be on Irish shelves from September 4.
