Galway-born composer Eímear Noone has received a nomination for a Hollywood Music in Media Award for the song 'Stand for Hope - When I Stand with You' from the film Two By Two: Overboard!.

Meanwhile, Cartoon Saloon hit Wolfwalkers is in the running for Best Original Score for Irish world music band Kíla's exhilarating work.

'Stand for Hope - When I Stand with You' was written by Noone and performed by Irish singer Sibéal and it faces tough competition in the Original Song - Animated Film category.

'Carried Me With You' from Onward, 'Feel the Thunder' from The Croods: A New Age, 'Free from The One And Only Ivan, Just Sing' from Trolls World Tour, and 'Rocket to the Moon' from Over The Moon.

Noone is hailed as the first internationally successful female composer from Ireland.

She co-founded the Dublin City Concert Orchestra, an ensemble for the performance of film music, and became the first woman to conduct at the National Concert Hall. Now, Noone is widely considered as the world's leading conductor of video game scores, having worked on big names like Zelda and World of Warcraft.

The composer and her husband now divide their time between Dublin and California. She conducts 40 to 50 concerts a year around the world with the likes of the Royal Philharmonic of London, Sydney Symphony and National Symphony.
