Tickets for Gary Barlow's A Different Stage at the Dublin Gaiety Theatre go on sale this Friday at 9:30 a.m., priced from €50.65.
Singer, songwriter and producer Gary Barlow has announced a new string of dates for his critically acclaimed one man show, A Different Stage. The new dates will see him coming to the Dublin Gaiety Theatre from the 26th through the 29th of October, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 9:30 a.m.
A candid telling of his life story in his own words, A Different Stage combines Barlow's extensive discography with exceptional writing ability, weaving together a no holds barred musical unlike anything audiences have seen before.
“Now I've done shows where it has just been me and a keyboard. I've done shows where I sit and talk to people. I've done shows where I've performed as part of a group. But this one, well, it’s like all of those, but none of them," he said about the show. "When I walk out this time, it's going to be a very different stage altogether."
One of Britain's most prominent songwriters and producers, Barlow has cemented his legacy as an integral part of the UK music scene. As a part of pop group Take That, he won eight BRIT awards and sold over 45 million records, as well as collaborated with greats the likes of Elton John, Shirley Bassey and Robbie Williams.
No stranger to theatre, the writer has more recently composed the score for the hugely successful production Finding Neverland, and worked alongside A Different Stage collaborator Tim Firth on Calendar Girls The Musical.
