After the success of his sold-out Academy show earlier this year, Gerry Cinnamon is bringing his headline show back to Dublin and Belfast.
One of Scotland's most successful independent artists, Gerry Cinnamon will take to the stage at The Olympia Theatre on Friday 8th March 2019 and Thursday 7th March at Ulster Hall, Belfast.
After selling out multiple nights at The Barrowlands Ballroom in five minutes with little more than a Facebook post, he earned a place in the institutions' revered hall of fame alongside legends David Bowie, Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller.
Speaking of the tour's success, Cinnamon said, "beautiful mayhem doesn't even get anywhere near it. Never seen or felt that level of intensity from anything ever. Folk chanting the tunes like it's the last song they'll ever sing. Folk crying. Folk tearing their clobber off and launching it. Folk on shoulders with their eyes closed singing every word. I had in-ear monitors and 4 wedge monitors all around me pumping full blast and I still couldn't hear anything but the crowd.”
Also the recipient of accolades including the Great Scot Award for Entertainment and Best Live Act in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, Gerry has proven an unprecedented success for his ability to operate outside of the mainstream.
In September last year, his hugely anticipated self-produced and self-released debut album Erratic Cinematic rocketed to the top of the iTunes album charts with little more than a social media post, beating off some of the biggest names in music today.

His live shows have become known for their wild atmosphere and sing along moments - with the crowd singing every word to every song, many before they are even released.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 30th at 9am.
