It’s that time of the year again! Christmas is the season for thinking of others, whether they’re at home or abroad. With that in mind, feast your eyes on Hot Press’ curated list of presents for friends, family and everyone in between, compiled with Irish-owned businesses in mind.

This award-winning jewellery brand – inspired by the Caribbean Sea and its colours – is handmade and designed in Ireland. Founded in 2017 by a Venezuelan artist Betzy Nina, who is fascinated by retro colours and abstract shapes, the company is based in Dublin city.

“We’re a very small team – I say we, but it’s actually just me!” Betzy tells Hot Press. “I don’t do big batches of jewellery – I work on orders mainly, so there’s no waste of materials. It’s very important to have local support, so I can keep going forward with my art.”
