The Canadian pop star is distributing the raw video and files.
Grimes, whose recent full-length endeavour Miss Anthropocene was described as "a dark concept album", is asking fans and creatives to help complete her latest music video for 'You'll Miss Me When I'm Not Around'.
The artist has released the raw audio and video files to encourage creators to play around with their own versions of the video "as part of a collective art project". Creators should share their concepts via the hashtag #grimesartkit on Twitter, and Grimes will share some of her favourites.
Song stems are being distributed through a WeTransfer link, which you can find here.
“We shot 5 of these greenscreen ‘lyric videos’ so we could have visuals for the album (doing our regular intensive videos in my state didn’t seem super wise etc etc),” she wrote on Instagram. “But obvs w [the video for] delete forever we started messing around in post and making better stuff than we thought we could.”
