This is no ordinary festival, Guinness Winterfest will surely be the highlight of your holiday season.
This December, for the first time ever, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery will be transformed into an extraordinary Christmas festival, complete with a seasonally inspired line-up of entertainment. The brewery will open its doors to some of the best local food vendors, designers, gift makers, DJs, bands, comedians, choirs and much more.
Guinness Winterfest will roll out serious festive feels from Thursday 5th December to Sunday 8th December 2019 and from Thursday 12th December to Sunday 15th December 2019. It will be open to members of the public, aged 18 and over, from 4-10 pm on Thursday and Fridays, from 1-10pm on Saturdays and from 1-7 pm on Sundays.
The festival is curated by food connoisseur Ali Dunworth. Guinness Winterfest will play host to foodies who will take up residency at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery across the festival weekends. You can expect sweet treats such as churros with chocolate dip to bubbling cheese toasties – all perfectly paired with a delicious pint of Guinness.
Guinness brewers and beer sommeliers will also create a selection of Mulled Guinness, Guinness Old Fashioned cocktails and a specially brewed Christmas beer to be paired with the tasty dishes.

Guests can also expect a music and entertainment line-up full to the brim with Christmas feels, programmed by music promoter and Dubliner, John Mahon. DJs, bands, and up and coming buskers are set to light up the stage and in the karaoke caravan. Christmas tunes will be flowing from everyone’s festive favourites to the much-loved score from the Guinness Christmas ad.
Guests can look forward to browsing through the festival stalls in search for unique stocking fillers or a festive treat for themselves! There’ll be fun and different gifts that go beyond the usual Christmas wish list on sale from trend-setting Irish creatives. Expect unexpected crafts and jewellery, prints and quirky cards, apparel and homewares, confectionery and decorations. From self-gifting to finding something for a best friend, there will be something for everyone.
Tickets to Guinness Winterfest are available to buy via Eventbrite for €10 per person aged 18 and over. Tickets include access to Guinness Winterfest plus a pint of Guinness or one of the festive inspired Guinness Open Gate brewer’s experimental beers.
