Guy Pearce has opened up about working on LA Confidential with Kevin Spacey, who he referred to as a “handsy guy”.
Speaking to Australian chat show host Andrew Denton on Channel Seven show Interview, the 50-year-old actor told of a “slightly difficult time with Kevin.”
When asked by Pearce about working with the actor on the 1997 movie, Pearce said he was a “tough one to talk about at the moment.”
He said that despite Spacing being an “amazing actor, incredible actor,” working with him was difficult as “he’s a handsy guy.”
“Thankfully, I was 29 and not 14,” Pearce added, evoking a series of gasps from the live studio audience.
Back in October 2017 actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making sexual advances towards him when he was 14 years old at a 1986 party in Spacey’s apartment.
The Old Vic theatre in London, where Spacey had served as artistic director between 2004 and 2015, revealed it had received 20 allegations of inappropriate behaviour by the actor.

Spacey was dumped from Netlix’s House of Cards and was erased from Ridley Scott’s film, All the Money In the World.
