Have You Checked your iPhone Battery?
Samsung Note 7 users are not the only ones affected by battery battles.
You may want to double-check the battery in your iPhone 6S. Although not as dangerous as the exploding batteries with the Samsung models, Apple users have been experiencing issues with batteries cutting out abruptly.
In a recent statement Apple declared, "Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6S devices may unexpectedly shut down. This is not a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured between September and October 2015."
To remedy the dilemma, you can take your 6S to any Apple store and confirm whether your handset is affected. If it is, then you're eligible for a free battery replacement. However, if your screen is already cracked or has unrelated damage, then that must be handled as a separate issue.
What if you already bought a new battery at your own expense? Apple will provide a refund for that too!
Fortunately, there is no safety hazard associated with the iPhone 6S battery.
