The film director James Toback has been sensationally accused of sexually harassing or sexually assaulting a staggering 38 women.
The allegations against the man who directed the Robby Downey Jnr movies 'Two Guys and a Gal' and 'The Pick-Up Artist' comes hot on the heels of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal.
According to a report in the LA Times, the women have bravely come forward to tell how the movie mogul coerced them to his hotel rooms and dry-humped them and even masturbated in front of them.
Amongst the women to speak on-the-record was Louise Post, a guitarist and vocalist for the band Veruca Salt.
"He told me he’d love nothing more than to masturbate while looking into my eyes,” Louise said.
“Going to his apartment has been the source of shame for the past 30 years, that I allowed myself to be so gullible. Today, I cried for the first time since then about it.
"I was crying for the 20-year-old woman who lost something vital that day — her innocence.”
The majority of the women told how Toback, who is also a producer and screenwriter, promised to make them stars if they played along with his sordid demands.
"And the horrible thing is, whichever road you choose, whether you sleep with him or walk away, you're still broken," a once inspiring actress Starr Rinaldi said. 'You have been violated."
Actress Echo Danon told how the film director said he would ejaculate if she looked into his eyes and pinched his nipples.
“Everyone wants to work, so they put up with it,” Danon told the Times. “That’s why I put up with it. Because I was hoping to get another job.”
A representative of Toback has denied the allegations.
