The 23-year-old Dubliner, who trades under the Somebody's Child banner, has been compared to the likes of Artic Monkeys and Foster The People –his is an an apparently effortless blend of indie, alternative and pop. Starting out just over a year ago, his superb debut single ‘Make You Alright’ received airplay on over 25 radio stations across the country, with total listener impacts in excess of two million. Released in January, the follow-up, ‘Toes’, produced by Ross Dowling of James Vincent McMorrow and Bell X1 fame, tantalisingly explores different elements of indie-pop. Somebody's Child sets out on an Irish tour in February, but the momentum is building even as you read this.
