Back from their recent tour of Asia, Kodaline are set to feature on RTÉ's flagship chat show this week.
As revealed earlier today, Kodaline have been announced as the headline guests on the Late Late Show tomorrow night. Fresh from the interview which sees them grace the cover of Hot Press this week, the band will be interviewed by Ryan Tubridy – and they will also perform their single 'Brother'. One of Ireland's most successful acts, Kodaline play St. Anne's Park on the North side of Dublin on 31 May and 1 June.
Music will also be provided by SYML (it means 'simple' in Welsh), aka Brian Fennell, who is from Issaquah, 20 miles to the east of Seattle. Fennell, who has has been championed by Hot Press, was adopted – and discovered relatively recently that he had roots in Wales. The former Barcelona man (that's the band not the football team) plays The Button Factory in Dublin on 6 July 2019.
Also set to feature on the show is Stefanie Preissner, who has just published a new book Can I Say No? Her thesis in the book is that people seem to have lost the ability to say 'no'. Preissner – one of the most successful new authors of the past five years in Ireland – will argue that we will be happier if we regain the ability to say that two-letter word more often! Just ask Arlene Foster!

The Late Late Show will also explore the background to the murder trial that gripped the nation recently. Patrick Quirke was found guilty of the murder of Bobby Ryan – and on Friday night's show, Bobby's children Michelle and Robert will talk about their father and the terrible circumstances of his death.
The evening will also include a feature on the Leaving Cert – a subject which many in Hot Press feel gets far too much attention and respect. But, hey, that's just us! There's all of that and something about a robot that assists women giving birth! Something, you might say, for everyone in the audience. But the real draw, of course, are Hot Press cover stars, Kodaline.
