With the two-week shutdown set to commence, we compile a playlist reflecting the dystopian feel of the moment…
Well, that changed fast. The quickly moving coronavirus has now seen Ireland put on an unprecedented two-week shutdown. It's set to be a hugely challenging period for Irish society as we try to stabilise the situation. It's the least of our worries right now, but music and entertainment have already taken a hit, with high-profile gigs by The Who, Elbow and more following by the wayside.
Below, we've compiled a Lockdown playlist, which reflects the dystopian tenor of the moment while also ending a note of optimism. Hopefully after the two-week shutdown has concluded, the virus will be under control and normal service can gradually resume.
In the meantime, of course, stay safe and take all the necessary precautions.
