And the Beats goes on.
Envy normally turns you green. HP’s desktop PC is a brighter shade of scarlet. An ideal workhouse for a shared home, this 23” beast has a 10-point touchscreen that spews out visuals at 1920 x 1080. Eight 12 watt speakers are built into the device, so the audio has welly. Bass is subdued, however: there’s more subwoof in a dead chipmunk. Although the beats are lacking, the processor keeps the party rocking. The powerful Intel chip is accompanied with 8GB of RAM – a great taskmaster for video and audio editing.
It comes with its own basic music apps. There’s Edjing, for anyone with delusions of DJ supremacy. Music Maker Jam is a fun editing tool, in which you loop instruments and sound effects. Piano Time lets you tinkle the virtual ivories. You can use the 23-n001na as a full HD monitor for a games console or TV. A 720p webcam, wireless keyboard and mouse, are included.
