Hudson Taylor will perform a hometown show at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on Saturday 4th June to celebrate their upcoming album.
Hudson Taylor have announced a 3Olympia Theatre Dublin show, due to take place this coming June.
The highly-anticipated return to their hometown is planned to coincide with the release of their new album Searching For The Answers on Rubyworks. The duo are back with new single 'You Me Myself' today, taken from their upcoming album. The brothers discussed their new outlook on creating, homegrown inspiration and their best work yet with Hot Press, read the new interview here.
With a pandemic and two years bridging their releases, Hudson Taylor have decided to bring it back to basics.
"I think it kind of simplified things. Because we, for our last album we had a much bigger sound, and we toured with a lot more musicians. So for this, it just kind of came back to the two of us," Alfie told Hot Press. "Sound-wise, we just wanted to wrap it around a brother duo."
Hudson Taylor had long established themselves as kings of the folk-pop genre. With their previous album Loving Everywhere I Go debuting at Number 1 on Irish national charts, a tour opening for Hozier and over 30 million streams on Spotify, they seemed to have found their formula. However, the Covid-19 crisis hit home the following week and all our worlds changed considerably - the area of live music more than most.
The chance to return to playing for live audiences in Dublin is one that Harry and Alfie are looking forward to with mounting excitement.
