No surprises here: Harry Potter is still immensely popular.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child broke the popular bookseller chain Barnes & Noble's record for its most pre-ordered book ever. The book it beat out? The seventh and final novel in the Harry Potter series.
The "Special Rehearsal Edition" of the book features writer Jack Thorne's rehearsal script for the upcoming London play. Thorne's script draws from an original story he devised with J.K. Rowling and theatre director John Tiffany.
The play is currently in previews and has garnered positive reviews.
It opens on the West End July 30, with the script becoming available the next day.
