The group talk ICBR, activism and what makes them radical for the latest issue's Frontlines
Radical Queers Resist have had a busy number of months. Since their formation in February of this year, the group have been a watchdog of anti-choice demonstration, recruiting new members and working with other groups to bring attention to social issues plaguing the country.
In the latest Frontlines, they speak to Hot Press on how queer activism leads to queer liberation - and how this in turn leads to further activism. The Frontlines article goes into detail about the cat-and-mouse chase that saw RQR cover up graphic abortion imagery displayed by an extreme pro-life group. You can watch them in action in this video, which, contrary to what many viewers believe, is not actually fan-made, but a pro-life production.

They also discuss the group's formation, why the Irish Centre for Bioethical Reform (ICBR)'s tactics spurred them on to take greater action, and what issues the group have turned their attention to now that the Eighth Ammendment has been repealed.
The group, who earned support from the yes-voting public in the run-up to the referendum, now have a neat following interested in what they're going to do next. Members say that this includes tackling issues like trans healthcare, securing legal recognition for non-binary people and improving mental health services in this country.
