Literary stars Emma Dabiri, Kevin Barry, Colm Tóibín, and Marian Keyes, will brush shoulders with musicians DUG, Oisin Leech, Branwen and actor Richard E Grant as part of the festival.
The International Literature Festival Dublin has announced its full programme for its 2024 festival, running from May 17-26.
This year's festival is billed to showcase a mix of Irish and international writers, ranging from the likes of Irish-Nigerian academic and author Emma Dabiri to beloved Withnail and I actor Richard E. Grant.
Embodied Disobedience, named after Dabiri's upcoming book will see the author, along with comedian Maeve Higgins, offer an "alternative ways of seeing beauty, drawing on other cultures, worldviews, times, and places, as well as looking beyond the capitalist model". Embodied Disobedience will take place on Saturday, May 25 .
Elsewhere, Academy award nominee Richard E. Grant will be reading from his memoir, A Pocketful of Happiness.
When Grant's beloved wife, dialect Coach Joan Washington passed away in 2021, her final challenge to him was to find a “pocketful of happiness in every day”.

A Pocketful of Happiness looks back on his marriage, parenthood, and the highs and lows of a Hollywood career, always seeking a silver lining, making for what promises to be a poignant and life affirming event. This event will take place on Friday May 17.

Also featuring on this is bill is the multi-million copy, internationally bestselling author, Marian Keyes who will be running an event on Saturday May 18 to showcase her latest novel My Favourite Mistake.
Booker Prize nominee Colm Tóibín will also be joining the festival's line up, with a Brooklyn sequel titled Long Island. This event will take place on Friday May 24.
Fellow Booker Prize nominee Kevin Barry is also joining the festival's ranks on Sunday May 26 to discuss The Heart in Winter, the Limerick author's latest novel.
Critically acclaimed essayist Sinéad Gleeson will read from her debut novel A Woman On Edge on the last Sunday of the festival

Convenience Store Woman author Sayaka Murata will share from her latest short story collection Life Ceremony on Tuesday May 21.
It's not all talks and readings however, with Antrim writer Jan Carson running two workshops on Saturday and Sunday May 18 and 19 respectively.
After making a splash with her debut novel Cleopatra and Frankenstein, Coco Mellors returns with an event showcases her sophomore offering, Blue Sisters on Friday May 17.
They'll also be musical accompaniments in the form of DUG, Oisín Leech, and Branwen as part of the Words Unplugged series.
All events will talk place in and around Merrion Square park where the festival is based.
