Dubliners can explore the art of Damien Hirst at Gormley's Fine Art this coming April.
Ireland's largest ever exhibition by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst will be on display at Gormley's Fine Art in Dublin from April 4 through 25.
The show will feature 20 limited edition prints signed by Hirst, with the exhibition pieces ranging in price from €12,000 to €65,000. The exhibition also includes several of Hirst's famous spot paintings, which Adrian Searle once described in The Guardian as "unsatisfying as cigarettes, calming but addictive."
"This is probably the first time that so many Damien Hirst pieces have been seen in this country," said Gerard Gormley in a statement. "We’ve been selling his work here for three years now. People are excited by it because the work is iconic, but it’s also very beautiful."

Hirst, allegedly Britain's richest living artist, found himself in the news again recently after designing the world's most expensive hotel suite at The Palms in Las Vegas.
