Since the up and coming Cork-based outfit released their first EP 'No One Is Safe Here' in November of 2020, they have quickly become one of the most exciting new Irish acts around.

Rowan were signed to Beverly Martel Music last year and has released EPs like ‘Everybody Talks’ ,’Nothing's Gonna Change’ and ‘One of These Days’ under their new label.
The stage is now set for the band's debut album, on which they worked with legendary producer Tim Palmer (U2, Pearl Jam).
As it did for many, the pandemic gave Rowan a chance to reevaluate and reflect on what direction they wanted to be going in. Before the Covid pandemic, the group had settled into comfortable work as session musicians touring and playing with various artists.
“We loved our jobs but we knew this band was what we really wanted to be doing,” says drummer Fionn Hennessy-Hayes. “Covid was a convenient way we could make that happen.”
Rowan will now be getting their moment in the sun with Does It Make You Happy?. Written during the first six months of lockdown, this new album full of indie-rock anthems and delicate piano strains takes inspiration from the sounds of Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Arctic Monkeys.
“Hopefully this record can offer some hope and some solace,” adds Fionn.
Does It Make You Happy? is available for pre-order now.
