Acclaimed actor Hugh O'Connor's directorial debut Metal Heart screened at Dublin Comic Con this weekend.
Jordanne Jones (I Used to Live Here) stars as Emma, a gothy teen who clashes with her beauty blogger twin sister Chantal (Leah McNamara - Nails). Tensions are heightened when the pair are forced to spend summer together after their parents go travelling and a mysterious new neighbour Dan becomes entangled in their lives (rising star Moe Dunford - Michael Inside).
A fun comedy-drama which neatly subverts stereotypes, Metal Heart has plenty of the charm that made Handsome Devil and Sing Street big Irish hits.
Many in the Comic Con screening audience agreed, taking to Twitter to praise the film.
