Donations are being accepted now, with the shave scheduled for February 28.
Sam Killeen has announced a ‘Head Shave for Gaza’ fundraiser.
The money will go to the Beit Lahia Development Association, which works as a part of ACLAÍ Palestine to hand-deliver food to families living in Gaza. He also plans to donate his hair to the Rapunzel Foundation– an organisation that creates wigs for children with cancer. The shave is scheduled for February 28.
“The people of Palestine are still being denied their most basic human rights and have been victims of dehumanisation and genocide for the last 16 months,” Killeen wrote on Instagram. “Any donation, big or small, will be gratefully received.”

The campaign has currently raised €1,715 and received 62 donations. Their goal of €2,000 is within reach.
“If you can’t donate right now, please consider helping by sharing this fundraiser on social media and by word of mouth,” he wrote.
Based in Dublin, Killeen works as a guitarist, producer and composer. He’s collaborated with musicians like Kodaline, Declan O'Rourke and Villagers, producing his own music under the alias SENU.
The shave will take place in Dublin’s Faction Barbershop. Click here to donate to the fundraiser.
