When Sibéal Ní Chasaide, a sean nós singer from the Gaeltacht area of Rath Chairn, was asked to join the Irish Women in Harmony, she immediately answered yes. "Dolores O'Riordan’s legacy means a lot to me as an Irish musician," she says. "We are such a small country with a tiny population but people all around the world are able to sing the words to songs written by The Cranberries. I feel a sort of connection to Dolores, as I had the honour of singing the song Linger as Gaeilge for Rte 2fm’s CEOL 2018. Singing on this track deepened my respect for Dolores even more and it is always an honour to sing a song she once sang."

Having had the pleasure of seeing Sibéal perform live before, it's safe to say that the young singer has the same kind of unique vocal quality possessed by O'Riordan. The drive and passion that exists in Dolores O'Riordan's work exists in each of the artists that have participated in this cover.

"I hope that women and little girls who listen feel the strength emanating from this song," Sibéal says. "The idea was to show that female artists are out there too and that there is a place for females in this industry. I hope young girls take a message of empowerment away from this track. That they can do or be anything on this earth, and that there are women out there who will support and help them along their way."
