If you’ve been following the buzz around Stranger Things, it should come as no surprise that a second season is coming. Coming off the high of positive reviews, Netflix did the only thing they could do and renew the show.
Stranger Things is notable as a throwback to eighties cinema, with kids on bikes, teenagers fighting monsters, Dungeons and Dragons, as well as a whole slew of popular eighties movie tropes. Most importantly, it told a good story, making it more than just a grab at nostalgic imagery. The main conflict wrapped up with the final episode of season one, with enough new threads left to continue the story.
