Want your script to be made into a film starring an award-winning actor? Read on….
Calling all aspiring screenwriters and directors! We know it’s your dream to see your work up on the big screen. We also know that breaking into the big time is a hard slog. So how about some help? Say, from award-winning producer Dana Brunetti and acclaimed actor Dominic West? Well, you’re in luck – thanks to Jameson’s First Shot film competition, three writers/directors will be selected to have their scripts made into short films by the team at Jameson First Shot.
Jameson First Shot is a platform for emerging filmmaking talent, and has been supporting upcoming cinematic geniuses for year. Every year this first shot team partner with a great actor and filmmaker to support the boldest and brightest new visionaries. This unique competition is your chance to get your writing/directing skills noticed while working with Dominic West as your lead, and the support of the First Shot crew.
Not bad for a first shot, eh?
Applicants must be at least 25 and submissions should be no more than 7 A4 pages. This year, Jameson First Shot are looking for stories about the great and/or unexpected things that can happen when you fear less and invite life in.
Judging the entries will be the Jameson First Shot team as well as actor Dominic West and Dana Brunetti, award-winning producer of The Social Network, Captain Phillips and the box office phenomenon Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The closing date for entries is June 1 at 5pm, so make sure your final script is uploaded before the cut off!
