John has been in the business for the past 22 years, and was manager of the chart-topping Original Rudeboys.
John Foley has joined TEG MJR Éire and MPI Artists as a promoter and booking agent, based out of the promoter’s office in Ireland.
Foley will promote domestic and international tours through TEG MJR Éire, and develop a fresh roster of international artists for bookings with MPI Artists.
John Foley began his career in music in 1999 when he formed Toxic Promotions, promoting Punk and Ska acts like Stiff Little Fingers, The Damned, Misfits, The Beat, Bad Manners and more.
Hooking up with Dermot Doran of Eamonn Doran’s venue and Huey Morgan of Fun Lovin’ Criminals, John booked live acts for The Voodoo Lounge from 2004-2008, as well as attracting Shane MacGowan, Mani, Peter Hook, Bez, Marc Almond and Shaun Ryder to his Transmission DJ nights.
In 2008 John joined MCD Productions as a Booker for the newly opened Academy Dublin venue and has since then promoted numerous sold-out shows for Slayer, Anthrax, The Cult, Rancid, Lamb Of God, NOFX, Flogging Molly, Jesus & Mary Chain and Megadeth among many more.

Long-time manager of Trad-Punk outfit Blood Or Whiskey, John also discovered and managed local Dublin Hip-Hop heroes The Original Rudeboys, guiding them through two albums that achieved Gold & Platinum status in Ireland via the Rubyworks record label. John was instrumental in managing the early career of Irish superstar Hozier, and discovered and managed Wyvern Lingo, King Kong Company and Vulpynes.
