The Monaghan literature and arts festival will take place between September 27 and 29.
The Patrick Kavanagh Centre, in association with the Patrick Kavanagh Society and SoFFt PRODUCTIONS have announced Kavanagh Weekend 2024, set to take place over three days between September 27 and 29.
Set in Patrick Kavanagh Centre, Inniskeen, Monaghan, the arts and literature festival includes special guests such as comedian Jon Kenny and the acclaimed folk musician John Francis Flynn.
It will also welcome the legendary theatre group the Armagh Rhymers, and introduce a special Family day on Sunday for under 12s, workshops for young adults, poetry workshops and insightful panel discussions.

Other events include music sessions in McNellos on Saturday night, curated by the Cobblestone, a Guided Bus Tour on Sunday morning, an annual commemoration by Kavanaghs Grave and an exhibition of new work from Nina Ruminska entitled INNISKEEN PORTRAITS.
