Jonah Hill's Makes His Directorial Debut In New Trailer
Actor Jonah Hill is taking his first trip behind the camera, writing and directing skater film Mid90s .
The movie follows the story of a teenage boy named Stevie who befriends a group of skateboarders. A coming-of-age film, Stevie navigates adolescence and trying to escape a troubled upbringing.
Starring Sunny Suljic in the lead role, the film will also see Oscar nominee Lucas Hedges and actress Katherine Waterson.
The trailer shows many examples of Stevie struggling to find himself, going to parties, getting in trouble, and his first interactions with the opposite sex.
A poignant moment shows a friend of Stevie telling him, "A lot of the time, you feel like our lifes are the worst. But, think, if you look in anyone elses closet, you ain't trade your shit for their shit".
Mid90s is set to come out October 19.
