Tennessee indie-rock sensation Julien Baker has announced a three-track EP titled B-Sides alongside the release of her emotive new single ‘Guthrie’.
The EP, which includes outtakes from her recent third album Little Oblivions, will be released on July 21 via Matador.
B-Sides EP tracklist:
01. ‘Guthrie’
02. ‘Vanishing Point’
03. ‘Mental Math’
"Oh, I miss when I was certain about every little thing, so scared of forgetting that I put it down in ink," Baker admits on her guitar-based single ‘Guthrie’, which was first included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Little Oblivions.

The singer shared the news on Instagram, saying she was excited for the release of "a song recorded around the same time as the last album that just didn’t make the cut ... but one I really like in its own right".

Baker released her debut album Sprained Ankle in 2015, followed by Turn Out the Lights (2017) and Little Oblivions (2021). She is also a member of the indie supergroup boygenius, alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. The group released their EP Boygenius in 2018.
Baker played two sold-out gigs at Whelan's in Dublin this May. She is hitting the road again with American singer-songwriters Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen for their joint Wild Hearts Tour later this month, which kicks off on July 21 in Vienna, Virginia.
