English soul band Jungle have announced their new album For Ever, and touring it will see them play Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
The group released their Mercury Prize shortlisted self-titled debut in 2014 to positive reviews. The follow up, out September 14, according to the band will be quite different.
A statement from the collective says: "If Jungle’s first album was their imaginary soundtrack to the places they had never been, For Ever is inspired by real life experiences of the places they’d dreamed of for so long". Recorded in both LA and London, the band describe the record as a: "post-apocalyptic radio station playing break up songs."
Coinciding with news of their new album, Jungle today have released two new songs from the record: ‘Heavy, California’ and ‘Cherry’. Both songs are available now via all digital services and can be listened to below.
