The 11-day arts festival in August gathers musicians, performers, writers, artists, and speakers in the historic Kilkenny.
The Intriguing Conversations series is the latest addition to the Kilkenny Arts Festival, which will feature numerous poets and speakers. Don Paterson has been named this year’s Poet in Residence and he will lead a poetry workshop as well as read and discuss some of his own work.
The series will feature discussions on issues of the past and today with Niamh Boyce reading from her new novel Her Kind on the Kilkenny witch trial and Fintan O’Toole discussing the ongoing Brexit negotiations in his book Heroic Failure.
The Kilkenny Arts Festival will take place from 8 to 18 August.
Below is the full list of artists and speakers as well as information on ticketing.
