Artists Against Homelessness will return to the 3Olympa Theatre in April, featuring Kojaque, Damien Dempey, Shiv, Negro Impacto, Ahmed With Love, EFÉ and Curtisy.
The line-up for Artists Against Homelessness has been revealed, in aid of Focus Ireland.
The event, which will take place on April 17 at the 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin, will be headlined by Kojaque, who also curated the night. Having spoken about the issue of homelessness in Ireland on his last album Town's Dead, Artists Against Homelessness is the rapper and producer's personal step towards enacting change.
"The issue of homelessness in Ireland is one that simply shouldn’t exist and can be prevented with the right intervention from government," said Kojaque in a statement. "However, it’s not something that I have felt is in the interest of our government, which is why charities like Focus Ireland and events such as this one are so important. They offer hope to those most in need of it."
Joining him on the night will be singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey, alongside DJ, singer and producer Shiv. The night will also see ÉFE, Dundalk R&B duo Negro Impacto, hip-hop artist Curtisy and rapper Ahmed, With Love.
"It is incredibly disheartening to know that with over 8000 homeless people in Ireland, a quarter of whom are children, over 200,000 houses remain vacant in Ireland," said Shiv.
Artists Against Homelessness — previously Rock Against Homelessness — has been running for the last eight years.

"I was honoured to be approached for this gig and to be a small part of the great work that Focus Ireland is doing around the country," remarked Ahmed, With Love. "I feel as though the issue of homelessness is downplayed at times. So, the fact that we can help out the cause and work alongside an organisation like Focus is really great."
"Focus Ireland does amazing work with the homeless and it’s an honour to be involved in this gig. Homelessness is a major issue in our country, we see it every day and I’ve even had family become homeless. It’s great to be a part of something so positive to mark how much Focus Ireland do," agreed Curtisy.
Tickets for Artists Against Homelessness at the 3Olympia Theatre are priced at €30, and available to purchase, here.
