The Irish TV presenter has just been announced as the host of a spin-off show for ITV's 'Love Island', which will be called 'Survival of the Fittest'.
The spin-off show will be filmed in South Africa and will air next February.
In 'Survival of the Fittest, a group of free and single young men and women will live in The Lodge and have to go up against one another in daily challenges.
The announcement has just been made via Twitter. The show's powers-that-be stated: "Introducing our host @thewhitmore who will be overseeing the ultimate battle of the sexes... set in the sizzling South African savannah! #SurvivalOfTheFittest."
A thrilled Laura, who was recently a 'Hot Press' cover star, said: "The ITV family always manages to come up with exciting and innovative formats and this brand new show is the ultimate boys versus girls."
She added:"Having worked on five series of I'm a Celeb... I didn't think that it was possible to find a backdrop as exotic as the Jungle – cue the African Savannah. I can't wait to get out there..!"

Coincidentally, Laura is dating Love Island's narrator Iain Stirling, who will be presenting the next season live from South Africa.
Comedian Brennan Reese has been announced as the narrator of the spin-off show.
