The supernatural thriller will open at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre from June 20 to August 11 for a strictly limited run
The critically acclaimed play 2.22 - A Ghost Story is set to open at 3Olympia theatre this summer with a freestanding Irish production.
For its debut Irish performances, the cast of the play will include Shona McGarty (Eastenders) as Jenny, Jay McGuiness (The Wanted, BIG! The Musical, Rip It Up), currently on the UK tour in 2:22 - A Ghost Story, as Ben, Colin O'Donoghue (Once Upon A Time, The Tudors, The Right Stuff) as Sam and Laura Whitmore (Love Island, Finding Joy and Jenny in 2.22: A Ghost Story in her West End debut) as Lauren.
2.22 - A Ghost Story has been running for almost three years, starting in summer 2021 at London’s Noël Coward Theatre. This first production received the WhatOnStage award for best play, and was nominated for three Olivier Awards.

The play toured to various stages across England, before finally setting off on a full UK tour in Autumn 2023. The thriller has now played across five continents.
An award-winning writer and journalist, Robins is already well known for some of his critical and commercial successes, such as Rudy’s Rare Records, and End of the Pier. 2:22 - A Ghost Story tells the story of Jenny’s and Sam’s adrenaline-filled night where secrets emerge and ghosts may appear.
The Irish production of the play is directed by Olivier-nominated Matthew Dunster and Isabel Marr and produced by Runaway Entertainment.
